The O pportunity

In the field of authorization within Worldline in our Core Acquiring Service Delivery area, we are looking for a Senior Application Developer.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Develop software for processing electronic payments into the suite “Worldline Pay Front Office”
• Coordinate and plan coding activities with Product Owners, Scrum Masters and fellow Developers
• Write and implement efficient and high-quality code
• Design, develop and execute unit test cases
• Plan, organize and perform code reviews and quality controls on the delivered software packages
• Document all aspects of software, for ongoing maintenance and revisions
• Train and educate other team members

Skills We Can’t Do Without

• University degree (master / bachelor) in computer science or engineering
• At least 3 years work experience in IT services and software development
• Good knowledge of Object Orientated Programming in C++
• Knowledge of Software Design patterns
• Knowledge of Relational databases (Oracle, Postgres), SQL and Data Model development
• Experience with Continuous Development and its CI/CD practices
• Proficient in working with Docker and GTest
• Knowledge of GIT and UNIX
• Knowledge of Agile methodology
• Experience with JIRA tool
• Good knowledge of English is mandatory, both spoken and written
• Strong analytical skills and problem solving attitude
• Strong sense for curiosity, proactivity, flexibility, accountability
• Enthusiastic to work in an international, scaled agile team of experts in daily cooperation
• Good communication skills, both oral and written
• Ability to operate in an advanced technical and fast-changing environment

Skills We’d Like

• Knowledge or working experience on Cloud solutions
• Knowledge or working experience on DevOps practices
• Knowledge or working experience on Payments Processing, preferably in Acceptance/Acquiring
• Experience on mentoring junior developers
