World Chess is looking for a hands-on performance marketing lead to own and scale our user acquisition and growth strategy across mobile and web. This is a high-impact role for a specialist who not only sets strategy but is also comfortable executing campaigns, building the funnel, and optimizing every step from ad click to paying user.

You’ll start by running performance marketing activities yourself, and progressively build and lead a focused, agile growth team. The product includes both a mobile-first app and a complementary web platform — both are key to our growth and user experience.

What You’ll Do

Launch and scale performance campaigns across Meta, Google UAC, TikTok, Apple Search Ads
Build and optimize full growth funnels: CPI → Retention → LTV → ROAS
Develop and test creatives: briefing, iteration cycles, and performance analysis
Set up and maintain tracking & analytics: Adjust / AppsFlyer, Firebase, Amplitude, GA4
Contribute to ASO and SEO: texts, localization, visuals
Oversee web acquisition: retargeting, landing pages, email, paid traffic
Improve user journeys and retention metrics
Gradually build and manage a performance team as the company scales

Your KPIs & Responsibilities

Cost per install (CPI) in target markets
Return on ad spend (ROAS) at Day 7 / Day 30
Retention metrics: Day 1 / 7 / 30
Growth in installs, registrations, and paying users
Performance and insights from A/B tests and funnel experiments
Ability to forecast and scale efficiently: CAC vs. LTV

You Bring:

3+ years of experience in performance marketing / UA, including for mobile apps and web products
Proven hands-on skills in launching and optimizing paid campaigns
Solid understanding of the app vs web acquisition logic
Strong command of analytics and attribution tools
Readiness to start solo and build from scratch
A strategic mindset paired with an eye for detail
Working proficiency in English
