Staff Software Engineer

Our client is a leading digital asset platform with a global presence. They're dedicated to providing innovative financial solutions in the Web3 space.

The Role

Our client is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join their Trading Systems team. You'll work on enhancing their matching engine, order entry systems, and market data publication, where performance is measured in microseconds. Reliability, fault tolerance, and low latency are critical priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement quantitative risk management solutions
• Develop scalable architecture for their exchange platform
• Write robust code and APIs to support core business functions
• Provide mentorship to ensure new features are efficient and fault-tolerant
• Respond quickly to production issues to maintain high availability

Requirements

• 8+ years of Java/C++ or functional programming in trading environments
• Experience working for a crypto company or crypto exchange
• Experience with unit testing and continuous integration
• 8+ years working with order handling or matching engines
• 8+ years working with FIX or similar market data/order protocols
• Experience building real-time Linux systems
• Solid understanding of IP multicast and TCP protocols
• Low latency/lock-free development expertise
