Experience: 10+ years hands-on paid media (agency or in-house)
The role
We’re hiring a performance-driven Paid Marketing Specialist to own strategy, build, optimisation, and reporting across Google Ads (Search/Shopping/PMax), Meta, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and other paid social/display channels. You’ll translate commercial goals into media plans, execute flawlessly, and report on outcomes with clear, data-led insights.
Responsibilities
- Strategy: Market & keyword/audience research, forecasting, channel mix, budget allocation, testing roadmap.
- Build & QA: Account structure, naming, pixels/tags, conversions (GA4/GTM), UTM governance, feed hygiene & Merchant Center.
- Optimization: Bid/budget pacing, audience architecture (prospecting/retargeting/LLAs), negatives/query mining, creative matrices, landing page/CRO collaboration.
- Measurement & Reporting: GA4 dashboards, weekly WIPs, cohort and funnel analysis, platform vs GA4 reconciliation, incrementality guardrails.
- Compliance & Hygiene: Brand safety, policy approvals, exclusions, scripts/alerts, documentation.
Must-have experience
- 5+ years hands-on managing multi-channel paid media at meaningful monthly spend.
- Proven results improving ROAS/MER for ecommerce and lowering CPL/CPA for lead gen.
- Proficiency across Google Ads (Search/Shopping/PMax), Meta, Pinterest Ads, and LinkedIn Ads; comfort testing YouTube/Discovery/Programmatic as needed.
- Analytics: GA4, GTM, event mapping (Purchase/Lead/AddToCart/AddPaymentInfo), Consent Mode v2 basics, UTM discipline.
- Reporting: Looker Studio/Sheets (pivots, lookups, regex) and executive-level narrative.

- Bing/Microsoft Ads, YouTube (in-stream/in-feed), DataFeedWatch/Channable, basic SQL/BigQuery, Hotjar/Clarity, Shopify/Woo/HubSpot.
KPIs you’ll own
- Efficiency: CPA/CPL, ROAS/MER vs target.
- Scale: Qualified lead/revenue growth.
- Learning velocity: Valid tests shipped & win rate.
- Data integrity: Clean tracking, minimal disapprovals, accurate pacing.
What success looks like (30/60/90)
- 30: Audit + stabilise, fix tracking, ship test plan.
- 60: 2–3 test cycles; -10–20% CPL or +10–15% ROAS on focus campaigns.
- 90: Predictable cadence; scalable structures; clear playbooks.
