About the Company
Fred & Freda is a Sydney-based creative agency specialising in high-volume graphic design rollout for shopping centres across Australia. They bring national campaigns to life across print, digital, and video, ensuring everything is seamless, on-brand, and ready to go.
They’re looking for a detail-focused Graphic & Multimedia Designer to join their team and help them roll out a large volume of assets with accuracy and efficiency. If you’re great at executing designs, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and can follow brand guidelines closely, they’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
This is not a concept development role—it’s all about execution. You’ll be working with existing templates to create print, digital, and video assets, ensuring everything is production-ready and delivered on time.
What you’ll be doing:
- Rolling out national campaigns (e.g. Christmas, Easter, Sales) across posters, banners, signage, digital screens, social media assets, EDM graphics, and more.
- Preparing large-scale print files (hoardings, billboards, in-centre signage) with perfect specs.
- Creating digital assets for web, social, and display advertising.
- Editing short-form videos for social media and digital screens.
- Adding basic animations (motion graphics, text overlays) to digital assets.
- Following brand guidelines to maintain consistency across all assets.
- Expert-level image retouching and deep etching for high-quality visuals.
- Working efficiently to meet deadlines while keeping quality and accuracy in check.
- Using initiative to problem-solve, ask questions, and flag any issues before they become a problem.
- Reporting to our Australian-based graphic designer for feedback and approvals.
Required Skills:
- 4+ years of experience in finished art, large-scale print, digital design, and video editing.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro).
- Strong attention to detail—your files need to be accurate and on-brand.
- A proactive mindset—they want someone who takes ownership, asks questions when unsure, and solves problems rather than waiting for direction.
- Solid technical execution skills—this role is all about rolling out assets efficiently.
- Ability to work Sydney business hours (AEST/AEDT)—this is non-negotiable.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, with a strong ability to follow instructions clearly.
- Experience working in a fast-turnaround, high-volume environment.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience working on shopping centre marketing materials.
- An understanding of Australian print production standards.
- Familiarity with digital ad specs across different platforms.
- Experience using ClickUp and Google chat.
Additional Information:
- Engagement: Full-time (38 hours per week).
- Schedule: Sydney business hours (8:30 AM - 4:30 PM).
- Budget: $10-15 USD per hour
