Responsibilities
Sales & Client Engagement
- Identify and reach out to high-potential customers (HNWIs, wine collectors, industry players)
- Build relationships with wine clubs, restaurants, retailers, and influencers
- Manage inbound inquiries from Korea via email, social media, and chat
- Guide potential buyers through the wine selection and ordering process
- Offer a concierge-like experience that aligns with luxury customer expectations
Marketing & Localization
- Develop and execute localized marketing campaigns for the Korean market
- Create and translate content (Instagram posts, LinkedIn, blogs) tailored to Korean wine enthusiasts
- Identify the best channels (KakaoTalk, Naver, IG, YouTube) to promote Wine Cave offerings
- Provide insights into consumer behavior and preferences in South Korea
Strategy & Reporting
- Collaborate with HQ team on overall marketing and sales strategy
- Track and report on KPIs: lead generation, conversion, engagement rates
- Offer recommendations for market growth and campaign optimization
Skills and Experience:
- Based in South Korea with strong knowledge of the local market
- 3–5+ years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development
- Passion for wine; WSET certification or prior experience in wine industry a plus
- F&B experience with high spending customers
- Fluent in Korean and English (spoken and written)
- Comfortable using LinkedIn, Instagram, Naver, and KakaoTalk for outreach
- Self-motivated, resourceful, and can work independently with a remote team
