ServiceNow Developer

Location: Virginia (Telework Eligible)

Wize Solutions is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to support and enhance an enterprise ServiceNow platform. This role is responsible for designing, developing, configuring, integrating, and maintaining ServiceNow applications to improve workflows, automation, service delivery, and operational efficiency across the agency.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and develop custom and out-of-box ServiceNow applications and modules (ITSM, HRSD, ITOM, IRM, Planning/SPM, Procurement, etc.).
• Create and maintain workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and Flow Designer automations.
• Build and maintain integrations using REST, SOAP, MID Server, and Integration Hub.
• Provide day-to-day platform administration, troubleshooting, maintenance, and support.
• Develop reports, dashboards, KPIs, and technical documentation.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum processes and contribute to sprint planning and prioritization.
• Ensure platform security, compliance with agency standards, and successful execution of upgrades and patches.
• Collaborate with business units to gather requirements, propose solutions, and support training.

Minimum Qualifications

• ServiceNow Certified Administrator (required).
• Hands-on ServiceNow development experience (2–5 years preferred).
• Experience with JavaScript, Glide API, relational databases, workflow automation, and integration development.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, IRM, SPM/Planning, Procurement, HAM/SAM, or App Engine.
• Experience with APIs, REST/SOAP integrations, and MID Server.
• Experience working with VITA or other government IT environments.
• Experience in vulnerability remediation and platform security best practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
