Lead Software Engineer

As the Lead Software Engineer, you will:

• Lead architecture, design, and development of scalable software with embedded AI.

• Collaborate with data scientists and PMs to turn business needs into ML/AI solutions.

• Mentor engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and career support.

• Evaluate and integrate AI/ML tools and frameworks aligned with the product roadmap.

• Ensure software best practices (testing, monitoring, documentation).

• Work within Agile/Scrum teams to define sprints and delivery roadmaps.

• Support infrastructure for AI model training, deployment, and monitoring.

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in software engineering.

• Proficient in backend languages: Python, Go, Node.js, Java.

• Strong knowledge of AI/ML frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn.

• Experience deploying ML models to production.

• Solid grasp of system architecture, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), and CI/CD.

• Familiar with data engineering tools: Airflow, Spark, BigQuery, Snowflake.

• Excellent communicator, able to work with both technical and non-technical teams.

Nice to Haves

• Prior experience in healthtech, mental health, or digital wellness companies.

• Exposure to LLMs (Large Language Models), NLP, or generative AI applications.

• Understanding of compliance frameworks like HIPAA or SOC 2.

• Experience with healthcare or telehealth platforms.

• Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and data privacy regulations.

• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.

• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
