Lead Software Engineer

As the Lead Software Engineer, you will:
Lead architecture, design, and development of scalable software with embedded AI.
Collaborate with data scientists and PMs to turn business needs into ML/AI solutions.
Mentor engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and career support.
Evaluate and integrate AI/ML tools and frameworks aligned with the product roadmap.
Ensure software best practices (testing, monitoring, documentation).
Work within Agile/Scrum teams to define sprints and delivery roadmaps.
Support infrastructure for AI model training, deployment, and monitoring.
Required Qualifications
6+ years of experience in software engineering.
Proficient in backend languages: Python, Go, Node.js, Java.
Strong knowledge of AI/ML frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn.
Experience deploying ML models to production.
Solid grasp of system architecture, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), and CI/CD.
Familiar with data engineering tools: Airflow, Spark, BigQuery, Snowflake.
Excellent communicator, able to work with both technical and non-technical teams.
Nice to Haves
Prior experience in healthtech, mental health, or digital wellness companies.
Exposure to LLMs (Large Language Models), NLP, or generative AI applications.
Understanding of compliance frameworks like HIPAA or SOC 2.
Experience with healthcare or telehealth platforms.
Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and data privacy regulations.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
