Senior .Net Engineer – POS Systems (C#/.NET, WPF, POSITouch)

About the Role

Are you passionate about crafting seamless Point-of-Sale (POS) experiences? We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer who’s a master in C#/.NET and has hands-on experience with POSITouch POS systems and WPF framework. You’ll take the lead on core development and integration initiatives that directly impact how businesses serve their customers.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Architect & Build: Design and develop high-quality software using C#/.NET and WPF, focused on POS system enhancements.
• POS Integration: Drive feature development and optimization of POSITouch POS systems, ensuring stable, real-time performance across retail environments.
• Lead with Impact: Mentor junior developers, guide technical decisions, and set coding standards aligned with industry best practices.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with Product Managers, QA, and Business Analysts to gather requirements, propose solutions, and deliver on-time releases.
• Boost Performance: Analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize code for performance, scalability, and reliability in fast-paced transaction environments.
• Ensure Quality: Participate in rigorous code reviews, write clean, testable code, and contribute to continuous integration efforts.

What We’re Looking For

✅ Experience & Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on development experience with C# and .NET Framework/Core
• Proficient in WPF for building modern, user-friendly desktop applications
• Proven expertise in integrating and customizing POSITouch POS systems
• Strong SQL Server and relational database design experience
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and integration strategies
• Solid grasp of software design principles, design patterns, and Agile methodologies

✅ Leadership & Communication

• Demonstrated experience leading or mentoring engineering teams
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset

Nice to Have (Bonus Points!)

• Experience in other POS platforms besides POSITouch
• Exposure to cloud technologies like Azure or AWS
• Familiarity with DevOps pipelines and CI/CD tools
