About The Role

The H&K Group, Inc. is seeking a talented Web Developer/Designer to join its Marketing/Public Relations team based in Skippack, PA. This role is pivotal in enhancing the company's digital presence through a blend of technical web development expertise and creative visual design skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining engaging, responsive websites that align with the company's branding and strategic objectives. Additionally, the role involves creating compelling graphics and visual content for digital marketing campaigns, social media, email marketing, and promotional materials. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for design, strong attention to detail, and the ability to translate business needs into attractive and functional digital experiences. Qualifications

• BS or BA degree in Communications, Web Development, Computer Science, Digital Media, or a related field
• 5-10 years of professional experience in Web Development and Design
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with responsive web design principles
• Proficiency with content management systems such as WordPress or similar platforms
• Expertise in graphic design software including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently and meet deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and website analytics tools
• Understanding of website hosting, domains, DNS, and basic website security measures
• Experience with e-commerce platforms

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive, user-friendly websites that meet company standards and objectives
• Build and update web pages utilizing HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web technologies
• Manage website content, functionality, and performance to ensure optimal user experience
• Optimize websites for various devices including desktops, tablets, and smartphones
• Troubleshoot website issues promptly and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime
• Enhance website speed, usability, accessibility, and SEO performance
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop landing pages, online forms, and other digital assets
• Integrate third-party tools, plugins, APIs, analytics, and other services to enhance website capabilities
• Create visual content for websites, social media, email campaigns, advertisements, presentations, and promotional materials
• Develop visual concepts, layouts, illustrations, and branding materials consistent with company guidelines
• Edit and optimize images for web and print use to ensure high quality and performance
• Work closely with marketing and other departments to develop creative campaigns and digital strategies
• Stay current with design trends, emerging digital media technologies, and best practices in web development
• Participate in project planning, strategy discussions, and provide creative recommendations to improve digital presence
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals
