About The Role
The UX/UI Designer - Web role is a critical position within Herbalife's new digital product initiative, Pro2col. This initiative aims to revolutionize how consumers interact with the brand through innovative web and mobile experiences. As a founding member of the design team, you will have the unique opportunity to shape the foundational design language, interaction patterns, and component systems that will underpin the entire platform. You will be responsible for owning the end-to-end design process, from conceptual user flows to polished, high-fidelity interfaces. This role requires a proactive and collaborative mindset, working closely with product managers, engineers, and mobile designers to create intuitive, accessible, and visually cohesive digital experiences. You will play a pivotal role in establishing a scalable design system, ensuring consistency and quality across the platform, and reducing development risks through thoughtful prototyping and design validation.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of UX/UI design experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating UX thinking and visual craftsmanship
- Expert proficiency in Figma, including component-based design, auto-layout, prototyping, and design system management
- Proficiency in Sketch or Adobe XD as supplementary tools
- Deep experience designing responsive, accessible web interfaces adhering to WCAG standards
- Proven ability to build and maintain comprehensive design systems and component libraries
- Strong understanding of interaction design, information architecture, and user-centered design methodologies
- Experience collaborating directly with engineering teams to ensure accurate implementation of designs
- Excellent communication skills for articulating design decisions and trade-offs to stakeholders
- Preferred: Experience working on founding or greenfield product teams
- Preferred: Familiarity with front-end development constraints and micro-interaction design
- Preferred: Background in consumer digital products, health and wellness, or e-commerce sectors
- Preferred: Exposure to UX research methods and usability testing facilitation
- Educational background in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Design, or related fields; exceptional portfolios may substitute formal education
- Certifications in front-end development, UX, or web accessibility are advantageous
Responsibilities
- Lead the UX and UI design efforts for the web platform, translating product requirements into user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity visuals
- Develop responsive, mobile-first web experiences that are functional and visually appealing across various devices and screen sizes
- Establish and evolve a comprehensive web design system, including typography, color schemes, iconography, spacing, and interaction states
- Create rapid, interaction-ready prototypes in Figma to validate flows, content, and edge cases before development begins
- Utilize prototypes to identify UX risks, test assumptions, and align stakeholders early in the design process
- Collaborate with engineers to ensure the fidelity of design implementation and maintain design consistency across the platform
- Partner with the mobile designer to ensure cross-platform design coherence and seamless user experiences
- Contribute to usability testing, design reviews, and critique sessions to refine and improve user interfaces
- Document and communicate design decisions, trade-offs, and rationale clearly to technical and non-technical team members
