About The Role

WSP is seeking a talented UX/UI Designer to join our Visualization Team in Meridian, ID, with the option for remote work within the United States. This role primarily focuses on designing user-centered experiences for web and mobile applications, ensuring that digital interfaces are intuitive, accessible, and aligned with technical capabilities. The successful candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including developers and visual designers, to translate business and user needs into compelling design solutions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative projects that solve client challenges and enhance user engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in User Experience Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Digital Design, Computer Science, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in UX/UI design supporting web or mobile applications
• Proficiency in creating wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and interaction documentation
• Experience with Content Management Systems such as WordPress or similar platforms
• Solid understanding of usability principles, accessibility standards, and user-centered design practices
• Ability to collaborate effectively with development teams to ensure seamless translation of designs into functional applications
• Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and adherence to organizational policies

Responsibilities

• Develop user-centered UX deliverables including user flows, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and interaction specifications for web and mobile platforms
• Collaborate with developers and visual designers to align user experience, visual aesthetics, and technical feasibility
• Translate business and user requirements into clear, effective UX designs that enhance usability and accessibility
• Consult with project teams and stakeholders to optimize application workflows and navigation, recommending improvements based on UX best practices
• Support usability and accessibility compliance by applying WCAG guidelines and documenting requirements for consistent implementation
• Participate in design reviews and collaborative sessions to resolve UX issues and maintain experience standards
• Maintain and update UX documentation and design artifacts to support ongoing development, content updates, and product enhancements
• Stay informed about the latest UX/UI trends and standards to continuously improve design quality across digital platforms
• Exercise ethical decision-making regarding company resources and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and policies
• Perform additional duties as required to meet business objectives
