About The Role

The User Experience (UX) Designer at Frontier Airlines will play an integral role in shaping and enhancing the digital experience for our customers. This position involves leading the design of intuitive, user-centered web and mobile interfaces that align with the company's brand and strategic goals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in responsive web design, accessibility standards, Lean UX methodologies, and ecommerce best practices. They will serve as the voice of the customer, translating user insights into innovative design solutions that improve usability and engagement. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and marketing, to deliver high-quality digital assets that support Frontier’s mission of making travel friendly, easy, and affordable. The UX Designer will also be responsible for conducting user research, creating prototypes, and presenting design concepts to stakeholders, ensuring that all digital touchpoints deliver a seamless and delightful experience.

Qualifications

• 6-8+ years of UX design experience in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Figma and Miro for design and collaboration
• Extensive experience with responsive and adaptive design methodologies
• Strong understanding of mobile-first design principles
• Degree in graphic/web design, interaction design, or a related field (preferred)
• Experience with data analytics to inform design decisions
• Knowledge of Agile and Lean UX practices
• Excellent time management, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to rapidly iterate and refine designs based on feedback and data
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams
• Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for creating visual assets
• Experience conducting user research, including interviews, personas, journey mapping, and A/B testing
• Ability to present and defend design decisions to stakeholders and leadership

Responsibilities

• Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that foster intuitive user experiences
• Create high-quality visual designs for desktop, web, and mobile platforms, ensuring consistency across resolutions
• Design and implement mobile-responsive design guidelines and digital style standards
• Conduct user research and analyze feedback to continually enhance the digital experience
• Utilize data and user insights to inform and improve design solutions
• Identify usability challenges and develop effective, innovative solutions
• Collaborate with product teams to refine user stories and ensure alignment with user needs
• Work with external agencies to develop brand-aligned digital assets and prototypes
• Present and justify design concepts and user experience strategies to stakeholders and leadership
• Advocate for best practices in UX across all digital channels, ensuring accessibility and usability standards are met
