About The Role
As a UX (User Experience) Designer within the Business Analytics department at Group O, you will play a vital role in crafting scalable and high-quality digital experiences tailored for our business customers. This full-time, remote position reports directly to Michael Horan and offers a competitive annual compensation ranging from $90,000 to $110,000. In this role, you will be responsible for translating complex requirements into engaging, user-friendly solutions that balance usability, accessibility, and visual appeal. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, researchers, and fellow designers to develop end-to-end user experiences for web platforms. Your expertise will ensure that our digital touchpoints are intuitive, accessible, and aligned with best UX practices, contributing significantly to the overall digital strategy of our organization.
Qualifications
- College degree or equivalent professional experience
- Experience working with design systems and component-based design
- Proficiency in producing web-ready and developer-friendly design assets
- Experience with Figma, Adobe Photoshop, and other design tools
- Preferred experience with motion design, animation, video, or tools such as After Effects
- Experience writing prompts for AI tools to support or accelerate design workflows
- Strong foundation in UX principles, interaction design, and usability standards
- Excellent visual design skills with attention to detail and quality
- Ability to balance user needs with business and technical requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams
Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end user experiences for web platforms, from wireframes to high-fidelity, production-ready designs
- Create clean, visually compelling layouts with a focus on hierarchy, composition, and usability
- Produce developer-ready design files, specifications, and assets with accuracy and consistency
- Apply UX best practices and ensure compliance with accessibility standards such as WCAG
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, researchers, and fellow designers to deliver cohesive experiences
- Contribute to and maintain established design systems to ensure consistency across digital experiences
- Communicate design rationale and decisions clearly to stakeholders and team members
- Incorporate insights from user research, usability testing, and A/B testing into iterative design improvements
- Build and enhance reusable components in Figma using auto layout, variants, component properties, and shared libraries
- Support current light-mode website delivery while developing components and patterns for evolving dark-mode design systems
