About The Role

We are seeking a highly experienced UX Designer focused on Design Systems to join our Veradigm User Experience team. This role involves supporting internal product and solution teams by developing scalable, unified design systems that enhance user experience across platforms. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, proficient in Figma, and experienced in solving complex design challenges in industries like healthcare or finance.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for user-centered design (UCD) and user experience best practices across Veradigm
• Evaluate and optimize design systems using heuristic analysis and usability principles
• Ensure consistency in design patterns across web, mobile, and desktop platforms
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define and evolve design standards and component libraries
• Lead UX contributions to mobile, desktop, decision support, and alerting frameworks
• Develop and maintain design documentation, style guides, and platform centers of excellence
• Provide UX expertise across non-product teams such as Sales, Implementation, and IT
• Support UX leadership in shaping team strategy, scalable processes, and cross-company initiatives
• Educate teams on patient safety and regulatory-compliant UX practices
• Contribute to thought leadership and innovation in tools, methods, and workflows

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Design or a related field (or equivalent professional experience) required
• Master’s degree preferred
• 8+ years of relevant work experience, with at least 2–3 years at a senior level
• Proficient in Figma for creating and managing design systems
• Experience designing for complex domains such as healthcare or finance
• Strong portfolio demonstrating design systems expertise, strategic thinking, and user-first solutions
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available for this role
