About The Role
The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high-quality integration solutions that support Supply Chain and Warehouse Management operations. This role requires full-stack development expertise, working with enterprise applications to ensure scalability and efficiency.
Location: Remote (Anywhere in the U.S. except Hawaii or U.S. Territories)

As a Senior Member Of The Team, You Will
- Work across business functions to develop scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct solution reviews.
- Take on complex technical challenges independently.
- Contribute to innovative solutions for the Supply Chain Warehouse Management space, utilizing Blue Yonder Warehouse Management System.
- Engage in hands-on coding, system design, and peer code reviews.
This is a 100% remote position with up to 20% travel based on business needs.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with technical leads to develop solutions that align with business needs.
- Translate technical specifications into scalable, high-performance applications.
- Write high-quality, maintainable code following full SDLC processes.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure coding standards and best practices.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Develop detailed system requirements and technical design documents.
- Partner with product owners and scrum masters to lead sprint planning and agile ceremonies.
- Identify technical roadblocks and escalate challenges as needed.
- Prototype and implement new concepts in an agile environment.
- Develop unit tests, telemetry, and analytics for applications.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in IT, software development, or related fields.
- Expertise in full-stack enterprise and web application development.
- Strong strategic thinking regarding business, product, and technology challenges.
- Ability to design and implement applications following best practices.
- Strong analytical skills for code analysis and process optimization.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across all levels of management.
- Experience with Java development, including Spring Boot.
- Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, telemetry, and alerting.
- Familiarity with agile development and test-driven development (TDD).
Preferred
- Experience with Angular, TypeScript, Ionic, NgRx.
- Knowledge of Kafka and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Oracle, MySQL).
- Hands-on experience with AWS or other public cloud services.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, microservices architecture.
- Experience with Blue Yonder Warehouse Management System v2020 is a plus.
- Understanding of Atlassian tools (Bamboo, Bitbucket, Jira).
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation is based on experience, skills, function, and geographic location. The expected salary range for this role is $75,000 - $120,000 per year, with an annual incentive plan bonus.
