About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Staff Software Engineer to join our Clinical Fit team. In this pivotal role, you will focus on developing systems that accurately connect patients with the right healthcare providers based on their unique needs and preferences. Your expertise will directly influence our ability to deliver a seamless, reliable, and personalized experience for both patients and providers. You will lead the design, architecture, and development of core data systems and matching algorithms, ensuring high accuracy and reliability. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies, including generative AI tools, to enhance our platform's capabilities. Collaborating closely with product, design, research, and analytics teams, you will help shape the future of healthcare matchmaking, driving improvements that make healthcare more equitable, accessible, and efficient.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience in building and scaling data-intensive analytics platforms
• Strong proficiency in backend development, data modeling, and system architecture
• Experience integrating AI and machine learning tools into production systems
• Familiarity with front-end visualization and data presentation techniques
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and lead engineering teams
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop scalable, reliable systems for patient-provider matching based on complex data and user preferences
• Lead the design and implementation of core data models and algorithms to improve match accuracy and system performance
• Collaborate with product, design, research, and analytics teams to define and refine product features and roadmaps
• Enhance the reliability and precision of data attribution and booking systems
• Mentor and review code of engineering team members, fostering a culture of quality and continuous learning
• Work with cutting-edge generative AI tools to automate workflows, generate insights, and develop innovative features
• Participate in technical discussions, design reviews, and strategic planning to align engineering efforts with company goals
• Ensure systems are built with a focus on security, privacy, and compliance standards
• Drive improvements in data quality, system reliability, and operational efficiency
