About The Role

We are hiring a Frontend Software Engineer to help design and build the next generation of scalable, high-quality features that drive our dental membership solutions. Reporting to the VP of Engineering, this role will play a key part in shaping the frontend experience of our platforms. You’ll work in a collaborative Agile environment, building code that meets our standards for performance, security, and maintainability. This position offers a base salary of $115,000 and company equity.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in a software engineering role
• Required experience with Vue.js and Nuxt
• Strong knowledge of software architecture and object-oriented design
• Experience using Tailwind CSS and TypeScript is strongly recommended
• Proficiency with Agile and Scrum methodologies
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and Docker
• Exposure to React and React Native is a plus
• Experience with NoSQL databases (Redis preferred)
• Solid understanding of security best practices
• Bachelor's degree in any field
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in team settings

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, user-friendly frontend solutions for our web applications
• Work closely with the Engineering and Product teams to review requirements and deliver high-quality software
• Write clean, maintainable code that adheres to internal standards and best practices
• Participate in Agile processes, including sprint planning, code reviews, and retrospectives
• Collaborate with other engineers to drive innovation and continuous improvement
• Stay informed on emerging trends in frontend technologies and incorporate them where applicable
• Embrace a mentee mindset, learning from senior team members and growing your technical expertise
