About The Role

We are hiring a Frontend Software Engineer for our Growth Engineering team, based in the San Francisco Bay Area. This team is focused on delivering a powerful and intuitive onboarding experience that supports both individual developers and collaborative teams.

In this role, you’ll drive measurable improvements to our user experience—particularly around activation, onboarding, and feature discovery. You’ll collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams across geographies and bring an experimental mindset to improving core workflows.

We’re looking for an experienced frontend engineer who is detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about building experiences that delight users and drive engagement.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver high-quality improvements to the onboarding and activation experience
• Lead and contribute to experiments using A/B testing frameworks to optimize user engagement
• Collaborate with product, design, and analytics teams to understand user needs and identify improvement opportunities
• Own end-to-end user flows and ship features that positively impact growth metrics
• Analyze data to validate impact, refine features, and iterate quickly
• Participate in cross-functional collaboration across Postman’s global team
• Engage with customers to understand their workflows and improve product usability

Qualifications

• 4–6+ years of experience building frontend or full-stack applications
• Strong command of modern web technologies including JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and frameworks like React or Next.js
• Demonstrated track record of shipping user experiences that are intuitive, scalable, and impactful
• Experience working with analytics and experimentation tools (e.g., LaunchDarkly)
• Strong communication skills and comfort in remote collaboration
• Analytical mindset with an emphasis on measuring success and iterating quickly
• Based in the San Francisco Bay Area

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using or contributing to developer tools or B2B SaaS platforms
• Familiarity with full-stack JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience with state management tools such as MobX
• Customer-focused mindset with a passion for continuous learning
