About The Role

Prescient Edge is hiring a Senior Data Scientist to support federal government clients. This role is ideal for professionals with strong experience in analytics, AI, and data engineering. You will work on designing and implementing advanced data science models, automation tools, and analytics platforms that drive smarter decision-making in high-impact environments. The position is remote, with potential travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Conduct data analytics, engineering, mining, and statistical analysis.
• Develop machine learning models, recommendation engines, and predictive systems.
• Perform data visualization using tools like Power BI and Tableau.
• Build and manage large-scale data pipelines, APIs, and ETL processes.
• Design and deploy microservices frameworks using tools like Redis and EvCache.
• Work with cloud platforms such as AWS and OpenShift.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies.
• Apply AI/ML to automate analysis and decision workflows.
• Create and maintain enterprise-level architecture and technical documentation.
• Manage structured and unstructured data from varied sources.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in data science or analytics-focused roles.
• Strong proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and related data science libraries.
• Experience with big data management, advanced analytics, and cloud computing.
• Familiarity with modern data integration tools and scripting languages.
• Knowledge of Multi-INT analytics, large language models, and machine learning.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CCSK, EMCDSA, or CISSP are preferred.
• Must hold or be eligible for a TS security clearance (TS/SCI preferred).
