About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our dynamic team at Solventum. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying advanced predictive and analytical models to extract meaningful insights from complex healthcare datasets. Your expertise will support the enhancement of revenue cycle management, clinical decision-making, and operational efficiency. You will collaborate closely with clinical experts, researchers, and cross-functional teams to generate actionable insights and deliver evidence-based recommendations. Utilizing cloud platforms and modern AI/ML technologies, you will build scalable data pipelines and integrate innovative models into existing workflows. Effective communication of complex findings to stakeholders is essential to ensure that insights translate into tangible healthcare improvements. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Data Science, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or related field from an accredited institution.
- 5+ years of professional experience in data science or related roles.
- High School Diploma/GED with 9+ years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL.
- Experience with data visualization tools including Tableau, Power BI, or Amazon Quicksight.
- Hands-on experience with AI and machine learning platforms like TensorFlow, PyTorch, MLflow, and AWS SageMaker.
- Strong knowledge of cloud services and building scalable data pipelines.
- Proven experience working with healthcare data, including unstructured data, clinical records, medical coding, and reimbursement data.
- Familiarity with medical classification systems such as CPT and ICD-10.
- Understanding of revenue cycle management and denials management solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with predictive modeling, deep learning, NLP techniques, and large language models (LLMs).
- Knowledge of AWS cloud environment.
- Legal authorization to work in the country of employment without sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement predictive and analytical models using advanced data science methodologies to extract insights from healthcare data.
- Collaborate with clinical experts and research teams to generate actionable predictions and evidence-based recommendations that enhance revenue cycle outcomes and clinical workflows.
- Build, deploy, and maintain scalable data pipelines and AI models within cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Integrate AI/ML solutions seamlessly into existing healthcare systems and operational workflows.
- Communicate complex technical findings effectively to non-technical stakeholders, including executives and clinical teams.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, procedures, and security standards in all data science activities.
- Stay updated with emerging trends and advancements in data science, AI, and healthcare analytics to continuously improve solutions.
- Participate in cross-functional team meetings, providing insights and recommendations for ongoing projects.
- Support the documentation of models, processes, and workflows for transparency and reproducibility.
