About The Role

Jazz Pharmaceuticals is seeking a dynamic Senior Manager of Consumer Marketing to join the Sleep Franchise team and support the brand Xywav. This individual will be responsible for leading and executing both branded and unbranded consumer marketing tactics, while also playing a key role in evolving the company’s consumer engagement strategy.

This position requires strategic thinking combined with a tactical, hands-on approach to manage day-to-day execution. It demands collaboration across multiple cross-functional teams and external vendors, while keeping the patient perspective at the core of decision-making. The role reports directly to the Executive Director, Consumer Marketing, Xywav.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute consumer marketing initiatives aligned with brand goals and informed by insights and in-market performance.
• Partner with Demand Generation and Omnichannel teams to enhance campaign visuals, messaging, and KPIs.
• Analyze qualitative and quantitative market research to identify trends and insights, then apply findings to marketing strategies.
• Collaborate with patient advocacy organizations and integrate the patient voice across branded and unbranded initiatives, including testimonials and social media engagement.
• Oversee the MLR (Medical/Legal/Regulatory) review process for all consumer-facing materials.
• Manage agency partners, timelines, and budgets effectively, ensuring all tactics are completed on time and within forecast.
• Represent the marketing team internally and externally with professionalism and brand integrity.
• Remain compliant with all relevant regulatory and corporate guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Associate degree required; MBA preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of consumer marketing/media experience.
• 4+ years in the biopharmaceutical industry, across areas like marketing, sales, commercial analytics, market access, or project management.
• Strong communication, cross-functional collaboration, and project management skills.
• Demonstrated experience managing vendors and budgets.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail and strategic insight.
• Familiarity with medical/legal/compliance review processes is essential.
• Must be open to up to 30% travel and occasional work outside standard business hours for events or deadlines.

Work Environment

• Primarily remote/work-from-home position.
• Frequent use of laptops/tablets.
• Public-facing presence required during events or meetings.
• Some weekend and after-hours work may be needed.

Compensation: For U.S.-based candidates, the base salary range is $134,400.00 – $201,600.00. Final compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. The total compensation package may also include a discretionary annual cash bonus, equity awards, and eligibility for a comprehensive benefits program including health insurance, 401(k), and flexible paid vacation.
