The Wikimedia Foundation is looking for a contract Project Manager for the Communications department of the Wikimedia Foundation. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Program Management, you will work closely with the department's project managers, multiple teams and departments on projects that support the Foundation's annual plan and its related strategies.
You will work alongside a small, strong, experienced team focused on effectiveness—a key annual plan goal. Your work will help to support and extend their capabilities. You will help to project manage cross-team initiatives, and support the team's collective work, liaising with and across the Communications department's teams, acting as a supportive project partner to writers, designers, marketers, PR/media, and movement communications specialists.
This is a remote position will ideally be located in the Eastern Standard Time zone working with colleagues in the USA, the UK, Europe, Africa, Asia, and Southeast Asia.

Salaries at the Wikimedia Foundation are set in a way that is competitive, equitable, and consistent with our values and culture. The anticipated annual pay range of this position for applicants based within the United States is US$ 72,702 to US$112,081 with multiple individualized factors, including cost of living in the location, being the determinants of the offered pay. For applicants located outside of the US, the pay range will be adjusted to the country of hire. We neither ask for nor take into consideration the salary history of applicants. The compensation for a successful applicant will be based on their skills, experience and location.
