WHOOP is seeking a Sports and Talent Marketing Manager based in Ireland to build and nurture key relationships with athletes and talent across the region. You will be instrumental in shaping WHOOP’s brand presence through influential talent partnerships and cross-functional marketing initiatives. This role plays a critical part in expanding WHOOP’s visibility, authenticity, and credibility across global sports and culture.

The successful candidate must be based in Ireland and should be prepared to travel as needed for the role.

Responsibilities

Manage and strengthen relationships with WHOOP athletes, talent, and their representatives, ensuring thoughtful and consistent partner engagement.
Provide day-to-day support for talent and their teams, overseeing product fulfillment, social media deliverables, and proactive relationship management.
Lead marketing initiatives tied to WHOOP talent and cultural moments, collaborating with cross-functional teams to execute impactful campaigns.
Oversee the athlete contract lifecycle in partnership with Corporate Counsel, from negotiation to execution and ongoing management.
Partner with content, creative, and social teams to develop compelling narratives and campaigns highlighting WHOOP through athlete and talent stories.
Coordinate with country marketing managers to identify partnership opportunities and maintain an up-to-date calendar of relevant events and activations.
Support operational excellence by creating tools and processes to improve communication and campaign execution across departments.
Travel to key events and activations as needed, representing WHOOP and maximizing brand visibility through strategic presence and partnerships.

Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in sports marketing, talent partnerships, brand marketing, or entertainment at a global or consumer-facing brand.
Proven ability to manage and cultivate relationships with talent and talent representatives.
Strong understanding of the sports, entertainment, and cultural landscape across Ireland and globally.
Excellent communication, project management, and organizational skills.
Comfort with contract structures, negotiations, and ongoing partnership management.
Proactive, collaborative, and solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
Willingness to travel and support weekend or after-hours events as needed.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or equivalent experience.
Strong commitment to embracing and leveraging AI tools in day-to-day tasks, ensuring AI-assisted work aligns with the same high-quality standards as personal contributions.
