Senior Graphic Designer

The Job:

This fully remote part-time position reports to our Senior Marketing Manager. Our part-time roles require you to be fully available 5 days a week, for 4 hours in the morning or the afternoon, at the same time every day. At Wholesome Story, we are raising the bar for the products that are delivered to the market and seeking a talented Sr. Graphic Designer with a passion for all things visual who can get people to click on content and can deliver next-level customer engagement. Your core mission as part of the Marketing Team is to turn this brand into a household name, helping reach thousands of consumers who could benefit from our products through breathtaking visuals.

Working closely with the Marketing Team, you’ll build a strong rapport and have a pivotal role in executing creatives vital to the brand's growth.

You’ll drive all creative projects, utilizing your creative skills to contribute to the evolution of Wholesome Story's brand and market presence.

Who you are:

You are an experienced graphic designer with a strong ability to design appealing visuals and a very strong attention to detail. Being a strong communicator who's assertive and organized is also key. As an enthusiastic problem solver passionate about creating original content, you are eager to collaborate with a creative team of marketers, women's health gurus, and executives. You have a clear passion for design and a strong commitment to deadlines. You are more customer-obsessed than the average. You also understand the elements of visual storytelling and can adapt to various mediums (photography, video, print, online, etc.). You are passionate about women's health, wellness, and the planet. What you’ll execute:

1. Creative Concept Development: Lead the conceptualization and development of visually compelling and on-brand graphics for various mediums including digital, print, and social media.
2. Brand Identity Maintenance: Ensure consistency and quality across all design work, adhering to Wholesome Story’s brand guidelines and visual standards.
3. Campaign Design: Collaborate with marketing to create engaging and impactful designs for marketing campaigns, product launches, and promotional materials.
4. Project Management: Oversee multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output, while managing resources and meeting deadlines.
5. Detail Master: Ensure labels are error-free. An eye for detail is key for this role as we usually print thousands of labels/flyers/stickers at once.
6. Internal/External Team Coordination: Liaise with external vendors, printers, and other third parties to ensure the accurate and efficient production of printed materials and other design assets.
7. Packaging: Expect a lot of label edits. Create and edit labels for new and current products with immense attention to detail.

Ideal Candidate

• Expert knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
• Eagerness to communicate and work well with a wide range of people inside and outside of Wholesome Story.
• 3+ years of experience with packaging design.
• 4+ years of relevant graphic design experience.
• 2+ years of 3D rendering experience.
• Proven ability to be flexible and meet aggressive deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to build a brand following through the use of compelling still and video content.
• Proven ability to drive the creative process, including providing clear direction, timely feedback, and project completion.
• Ability to offer team innovative advice and solutions based on industry examples and experience.
• Demonstrated customer obsession.
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize workload and be a master of time management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing Amazon content.
• Experience with healthcare / women-oriented brands is highly valued.
• Good understanding of video and ad formats as well as the production process.
• A self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset.
• POP design / retail experience.

Monthly salary: 1450 - 1600 USD per month
