About The Team/Role
As a Staff Software Engineer on the DCA team, you will be a key technical leader responsible for the stability, performance, and future architecture of our mission-critical Digital Credit Application (DCA) platform.
This role requires deep technical ownership, focusing on the backend services and complex transaction flows required before a credit decision (adjudication). You will be a vital link between Product and Engineering, actively managing stakeholder relationships by translating intricate business requirements into scalable, secure, and robust system designs.
Your mission is to guide the team toward a more flexible microservice architecture to address current platform limitations. You will drive solutions to persistent problems like data transaction conflicts, integration complexities with external fraud APIs (Plaid, LexisNexis), and operational challenges stemming from the current technology stack.
This is a hands-on position where you will set technical standards, provide critical mentorship to junior engineers, and solve complex, large-scale problems that directly impact our core business success across North America Mobility (NAM), Over-the-Road (OTR), and Customer Payment Solutions (CPS).
