We are seeking a highly experienced and self-directed Director of Marketing to take full ownership of the planning, development, and hands-on execution of key marketing program initiatives. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, this role demands both strategic leadership and a roll-up-your-sleeves mindset to drive results across the organization.
This is not a role for a hands-off manager, you will be responsible for directing large-scale marketing initiatives and executing detailed components of each program. You will lead cross-functional efforts, manage external agency partners, support sales enablement, and ensure marketing deliverables are executed on time, on budget, and aligned with company goals.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Program Ownership & Execution
Lead and execute high-impact marketing programs that support national and regional business objectives.
Develop clear strategies and timelines, then own the execution through to completion.
Track progress, manage budgets, and provide ongoing reporting to internal stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with General Managers and Sales leaders to develop and enhance sales materials, proposals, and presentations.
Partner with internal teams, corporate partners, customers, and external agencies to ensure flawless coordination and execution.
Overall Responsibilities:
Lead the strategy, planning, and execution of major marketing initiatives.
Manage and coordinate external agency and vendor relationships.
Support sales teams with marketing-driven tools and collateral.
Oversee content development, promotional campaigns, and brand consistency.
Plan, execute, and manage national tradeshow and event program.
Track performance/lead generation, manage budgets, and report on results.
Collaborate cross-functionally across departments and regional offices.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
15+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience, including managing both internal teams and external agency relationships.
Proven success directing and executing complex marketing initiatives from strategy through delivery.
Deep generalist marketing knowledge across content, creative, events, PR, and sales enablement.
Experience working closely with sales organizations and supporting pursuit efforts, including proposal development
Strong multitasking skills; must thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient writer and communicator; highly proficient at delivering well crafted, customer communications
Highly organized, accountable, and self-motivated.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
Technical Skills
Proficient in Power Point and Canva (required) for basic design and layout work. Experience with Adobe InDesign is a strong plus.
Basic knowledge of website editing (wordpress) and CRM usage (Sales Force/Hubspot marketing cloud)
Basic Adobe photo and document editing software experience (ie. Adobe PDF editor, Photoshop) required
Familiarity with set-up and management of project and content management platforms.
Competence with budget tracking, vendor coordination, and internal communications systems.
