Applicants must have an UNDERGRADUATE degree from an accredited university in the U.S. (applicants without proper undergraduate qualifications will be immediately disqualified; this includes those with only a graduate degree listed on their resume).

We are looking for a motivated Full-Stack Software Engineer with a strong foundation in ASP.NET Core and C# to join our team. This role focuses on developing and maintaining web applications, with an emphasis on back-end development. While experience with React and Monday.com SDK is beneficial, the primary requirements are proficiency in ASP.NET Core, C#, and relational databases.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain web applications using ASP.NET Core 3.1 and C# 7.3 — including frontend and backend software engineering (full-stack).
  • Design an engaging, visually appealing UI with functionality using minimum JavaScript and CSS frameworks.
  • Utilize LINQ and Entity Framework for querying and manipulating data within relational databases.
  • Collaborate with the team to design and implement robust and scalable solutions using SQL-based relational databases.
  • Participate in the development of web applications, ensuring they meet business requirements and are delivered on time.
  • Engage in version control using GitHub, including code reviews and collaboration with other developers.

Requirements:

  • Must have at least a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from a United States University
  • 3+ years of experience with ASP.NET Core 3.1 (or a similar .NET framework) and C#.
  • Strong knowledge of LINQ and Entity Framework and their application within C#.
  • Adept understanding of MVC architecture (along with microservice architecture as a plus).
  • Proficiency in SQL and relational database design and management.
  • Experience with version control using GitHub.
  • Experience in state management through vanilla JavaScript (no reliance on libraries).
  • Frontend CSS library knowledge (Tailwind [DaisyUI], Bootstrap, etc.).
  • Frontend library knowledge is a benefit for future development projects; these libraries include Angular or React but preferably React.
  • Similarly, experience in Node.js is beneficial, though not required for the current cycle of development.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to effectively communicate in English fluency.

Please note, West Coast Wound & Skin Care is not currently providing sponsorship for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with React and its ecosystem, especially in the context of developing applications on Monday.com.
  • Familiarity with the Monday.com SDK.
  • Experience with Node.js and full-stack development.
  • Familiarity with AWS services and cloud-based development.
  • Experience with MongoDB or other non-relational databases.
  • Knowledge of EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and Revenue Cycle Management software.

Job Type:

Full-time remote with a negotiable salary of $80-$100K (based on experience). Hours are between 7:30 (or 8) to 4PM (4:30PM) PST — there is a mandatory 30-minute lunchbreak. For applicants in the Burbank, CA area, they can expect a higher salary to compensate for cost of living.
