Senior Account Manager, Performance Marketing

The Role

• Remote; must be based in South Africa
• Salary: R30,000 - R40,000 per month, dependent on experience level.
• Permanent role

We run Meta lead generation for local businesses, with dozens of active clients, and we want to take delivery to the next level. We’re looking for one person to own client delivery from start to finish: client relationships, creative direction, testing, and results.

This is a hands-on ownership role, not a project management role. You’ll be the named lead for each client, set the creative direction, decide what gets tested and what wins, and build the processes the team follows. Senior leaders will step out of delivery, so this role must be able to make calls without escalation.

What you’ll do

• Own client accounts across B2C and B2B, including campaigns with longer sales cycles
• Set creative direction and brief our designer, using a structured testing framework
• Run onboarding, monthly reviews, and renewals where needed
• Interpret Meta performance data (CPL, lead quality, creative fatigue) and act on it
• Document the delivery process so it runs without you

What you need

• 3+ years managing paid social or performance marketing clients, with direct Meta Ads experience
• Experience with B2B clients and setting expectations for a 60 to 90 day learning period
• Strong client communication, including difficult conversations
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans, both written and spoken. Many of our clients and their teams communicate in Afrikaans, so this is a requirement for the role.
• Self-directed, with strong written communication for remote, async work

Nice to have

• Experience running or working in a boutique-style agency
• Familiarity with AI tools for creative production and reporting
