We are looking for a skilled UX Designer (freelance) to support product teams working on EU-based projects at the intersection of mobile development and AI-driven applications. The role involves shaping intuitive, elegant digital experiences that solve real problems for enterprise and SaaS clients, primarily in the German-speaking market. You’ll work closely with international teams to turn user needs into smart, scalable design solutions.

Responsibilities

User Research: Conduct user interviews, usability testing, and analyze user behavior to inform design decisions and improve product experiences.
Design Systems: Create and maintain comprehensive design systems, ensuring consistency across products and platforms.
UI Design: Develop visually appealing and functional user interfaces, from wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes.
UX Strategy: Define user flows, information architecture, and interaction patterns that enhance user experience.
Prototyping: Create deliverables such as UML diagrams, card sorting exercises, low and high-fidelity prototypes, and journey maps to define the vision and execution of solving real user problems for our international customer base.
Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of design solutions.
Design Innovation: Stay updated with UX trends and best practices, bringing innovative solutions to our projects.

Skills & Qualifications

3+ years in UI/UX roles with complex digital products (e.g., BI tools, SaaS, enterprise systems)
Strong portfolio showcasing full design process and outcomes
Expertise in tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch
Proficient with Miro, Jira, and collaborative design platforms
Understanding of web and mobile development constraints (HTML, CSS, JS basics)
Experience with UX metrics and impact measurement
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a remote setting
Fluency in English (German is a plus)
