· Compensation: CAD $38,000–$62,000 per year, depending on experience, qualifications, and role fit

About the Role

As Product Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of Wei Education's AI-powered education and business-service products. Your work will include user and market research, product strategy, roadmap planning, requirements definition, feature prioritization, release coordination, and post-launch product improvement.

You will develop a strong understanding of the needs of international students, educators, and business users and translate those needs into clear and actionable product solutions. You will work closely with the CEO and relevant technology, design, content, marketing, and business stakeholders to move products from concept through launch and ongoing optimization.

Key Responsibilities

· Define and maintain the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the AskWei product portfolio and GPA Booster;

· Conduct user research and identify the needs and pain points of students, educators, and business clients;

· Translate user and business requirements into product requirement documents, user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria;

· Prioritize product features based on user value, business impact, technical feasibility, and available resources;

· Manage product backlogs, development timelines, testing activities, release plans, and product launches;

· Coordinate with technology, design, educational content, marketing, and business stakeholders to support timely product delivery;

· Participate in prototype reviews, functional testing, user acceptance testing, and pre-launch quality assurance;

· Gather and analyze user feedback, product usage data, and performance results to improve the customer experience;

· Monitor product metrics such as user activation, engagement, retention, conversion, and customer satisfaction;

· Conduct market and competitor research relating to AI education, e-learning, SaaS products, and chatbot technologies;

· Support continuous product improvement in areas such as privacy, content accuracy, responsible AI use, and academic integrity;

· Provide regular updates to the CEO on product progress, risks, key performance indicators, and upcoming priorities;

· Perform other reasonable duties related to product management and the company's business objectives.

Qualifications

· Experience managing digital products, SaaS platforms, AI products, education technology, e-learning platforms, or related products;

· Understanding of the complete product lifecycle, from discovery and planning through design, development, testing, launch, and optimization;

· Ability to translate complex user and business needs into clear, actionable product requirements;

· Strong product judgment, analytical thinking, and prioritization skills;

· Strong written communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills;

· Ability to manage multiple priorities and move projects forward in a fast-changing environment;

· Ability to use customer feedback and product data to support product decisions;

· Familiarity with agile product development, roadmaps, user stories, and backlog management;

· Experience in EdTech, international-student services, AI products, or business software is an asset;
