We’re supporting one of the most exciting names in the decarbonisation space – a US-based software company backed by top-tier VCs and founded by leaders from industry, academia and successful climate tech startups. Their platform enables industrial businesses to cut carbon and energy waste by measuring emissions and driving real-world reduction projects through verified partners.
Following their recent Series A, they’re scaling rapidly - with a customer base that already includes Fortune 500s, global energy majors, and financial institutions. As they enter their next phase of growth, we’re now hiring a founding Growth Marketing Manager to build the pipeline engine that underpins their future.
About the Role
This is an opportunity to take full ownership of the growth marketing strategy at an early but well-backed climate tech business. You’ll have budget responsibility and the freedom to experiment, iterate, and scale what works, building a repeatable and high-performing demand generation engine from the ground up.
While this is an individual contributor role to start with, success in hitting pipeline targets will open the door to building a team around you.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own the digital growth strategy across performance channels (Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.)
- Build and optimise a repeatable inbound funnel - from lead capture to conversion - including experimentation with landing pages, messaging, and bidding strategies
- Take full responsibility for marketing operations and close alignment with sales, especially BDRs
- Manage budgets, forecasts, analytics and reporting - driving ARR growth through measurable marketing efforts
- Continuously experiment and analyse: identify new channels, test new campaigns, and feed insights back into broader brand, sales and product teams
- Help shape the company’s marketing and revenue infrastructure as they scale
What We're Looking For
- 5–7 years in growth marketing at high-growth tech companies (preferably B2B), with hands-on experience across multiple channels
- Proven success building pipeline from scratch – someone who’s taken a business from 0→1 and knows what it takes
- Comfortable with autonomy, ambiguity and start-up pace – you’ve got a bias to action and ownership
- Strong data instincts – you enjoy setting up and optimising experiments, using metrics to guide decisions
- A team player who collaborates across sales, product and leadership, and knows how to prioritise high-impact work
- Excitement for climate and sustainability – you don’t need deep experience in carbon, but interest and drive to learn are essential
Bonus Points If You Have
- Previous experience in early-stage SaaS companies
- Familiarity with carbon accounting, ESG reporting or industrial decarbonisation
- Basic understanding of Python, SQL or a desire to learn
- Based near San Francisco or open to occasional travel for onsite team meetings
What You’ll Get
- Be a foundational team member in a fast-scaling, mission-driven company tackling climate change
- Competitive salary + meaningful equity
- Full healthcare coverage (medical, dental, vision, life)
- Unlimited paid time off
- Wellness stipend and company-paid travel opportunities
