We are seeking an accomplished Senior Data Scientist with a strong background in Machine Learning, Computer Vision, NLP, and AI/ML systems to join our advanced analytics and research team. The ideal candidate will bring over five years of industry experience in designing, implementing, and scaling data-driven solutions that create measurable business impact. This role will allow you to lead high-impact projects, mentor junior data scientists, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to push the boundaries of AI innovation.

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be responsible for driving end-to-end model development, from research and experimentation to deployment and optimization on cloud platforms such as AWS. You will be expected to combine your strong technical foundation with strategic thinking, translating business challenges into data science solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• AI/ML Solution Development

• Lead the design and development of advanced machine learning models, including supervised, unsupervised, and deep learning approaches.

• Build and optimize Computer Vision models for image classification, object detection, segmentation, and video analytics.

• Apply NLP techniques for sentiment analysis, text classification, entity recognition, summarization, and conversational AI.

• End-to-End Pipeline Ownership

• Develop and deploy scalable ML pipelines using Python and AWS cloud services such as SageMaker, Lambda, S3, and EC2.

• Ensure models are production-ready, robust, and optimized for performance.

• Maintain strong practices for version control, testing, monitoring, and continuous improvement.

• Business Impact & Insights

• Collaborate with stakeholders to frame business problems and translate them into technical requirements.

• Deliver actionable insights, predictions, and automation that improve decision-making and operational efficiency.

• Work with product teams to integrate ML solutions into core applications and services.

• Research & Innovation

• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI, deep learning, and big data technologies.

• Prototype and evaluate cutting-edge algorithms and architectures, ensuring the company remains competitive in innovation.

• Explore opportunities to apply generative AI and reinforcement learning to business challenges.

• Mentorship & Leadership

• Mentor and guide junior data scientists and engineers in best practices for model development and deployment.

• Establish and promote data science standards, reusable frameworks, and methodologies across the organization.

• Contribute to strategic planning for AI/ML initiatives and help shape the company's data-driven roadmap.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, Applied Mathematics, or related field.
• 5+ years of proven industry experience in data science, ML, and AI application development.
• Strong programming skills in Python with experience using libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, OpenCV, Hugging Face, and spaCy.
• Hands-on expertise in Computer Vision (CNNs, object detection, GANs, OCR) and NLP (transformers, BERT, GPT, sequence models).
• Solid experience with AWS cloud services for building and deploying ML solutions at scale.
• Strong knowledge of model evaluation, A/B testing, feature engineering, and data preprocessing.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven track record of delivering projects from concept to production in real-world environments.
