🚀 We’re Hiring! 🚀 At WeDevelop seeking a Senior Java Backend Engineer to join the tech team of a leading fintech company specialized in global payment solutions.

🌎 Location: 100% Remote – ONLY FROM LATAM

💼 Contract Type: Contractor / Full-time

What You'll Do:

Develop and maintain scalable, secure backend services using Java (Spring Boot, Hibernate).
Implement REST APIs and microservices integrating various payment methods (cards, eWallets, APMs).
Optimize system performance and ensure high availability.
Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations (PCI DSS, GDPR, DORA).
Collaborate with frontend, QA, product, and DevOps teams in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Troubleshoot production issues and provide technical guidance to the team.

What We're Looking For:

5+ years of software development experience (at least 3 recent years working with Java in production).
Experience in fintech, banking, or financial services.
Strong background in SOA/microservices architectures and OOP design (SOLID, Clean Architecture).
Hands-on with TDD and designing secure, high-performance REST APIs.
Experience with AWS (cloud-native architecture and deployments).
Advanced English (spoken and written). Spanish is a plus.

Bonus points for:

Experience with NoSQL (Redis, DynamoDB), additional languages (NodeJs, Python, Go, Rust), event-driven or DDD architectures.
Frontend skills (HTML, CSS, JS) and agile methodologies.
