Job Description
As the largest online distributor of restaurant supplies and equipment, WebstaurantStore offers an expansive catalog of over 430,000 products, delivered through fast, dependable shipping. Unlike many e-commerce companies, almost all of our technological design, development, and systems management is handled in-house, allowing us to create custom, scalable solutions in a rapidly evolving market.
Due to our continued growth, we are looking for a DevOps Software Engineer to join our Engineering Productivity team. This role will focus on enhancing the software development lifecycle through automation, CI/CD improvements, and infrastructure optimization.
This position is 100% remote in qualified states only (see bottom of page for list) on a full-time, W2 basis.
We do not offer sponsorship.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline application deployment and updates.

- Work with version control systems (Git preferred) and modern programming frameworks (C# .NET).
- Provide technical leadership by researching and implementing DevOps best practices and emerging technologies.
- Manage application lifecycle processes using Azure DevOps (build definitions, release pipelines, deployment pools, project configurations, feeds, dashboards).
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to enhance system reliability, scalability, and security.
- Write automation and infrastructure management scripts using PowerShell, Node/TypeScript, or Bash.
- Utilize Docker for application containerization (Kubernetes experience is a plus).
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps-related roles.
- Strong application development experience using TypeScript, C# .NET, or similar languages.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, security, and infrastructure automation (YAML pipelines a plus).

- Proficiency in automated configuration management tools (e.g., Terraform).
- Ability to research, implement, and optimize DevOps tools and workflows.
- Experience with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools (Azure DevOps preferred).
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Node/TypeScript, or Bash).
