For this position, the perfect Rhino should have the following skills:

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development
• Strong proficiency in Java, Micronaut, Gradle, REST, and Kafka
• Hands-on experience with OpenAPI / AsyncAPI specifications and Shopify integration patterns
• Solid background in building and maintaining high-quality, well-tested services
• Knowledge of domain-driven design, event-driven architecture, and reusable component development (e.g., Catalogue Validator)
• Architectural guidance, API design, mentoring, and delivery — Shopify experience is a strong plus
• Fully remote position, candidates based in Portugal
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher
