Marketing Manager
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Marketing Manager to join our growing team. This role involves developing and executing marketing strategies to solidify our presence in the Irish (core) market and drive brand awareness and gain market traction across the UK and Dubai. You will support the HOD through the development and management of all marketing initiatives including digital campaigns, email marketing, activation at trade shows and content creation.
As we expand into new markets, experience in building and executing strategies to establish a brand in the UK and/or Dubai is highly desirable. Experience and/or working knowledge of social and paid social is a must.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in marketing strategy and campaign management, with excellent communication and leadership skills. Ideally, you will have experience in the energy, sustainability, or technology sectors, with a passion for driving impactful results.
The marketing department’s role is to make the complex simple, and the simple compelling in order to support businesses internationally to reduce their energy and carbon.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement marketing strategies across all markets.
- Drive initiatives to expand Watt Footprint’s presence in new markets, including developing market entry strategies and localised campaigns.
- Manage all digital marketing efforts, including SEO, PPC, email campaigns, and social media, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Oversee the creation of compelling content, including blogs, case studies, whitepapers, and multimedia to communicate our expertise and success stories.
- Analyse activity, market trends and customer insights to inform strategy and identify growth opportunities.
- Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.
- Track and report on the performance of campaigns, using data-driven insights to optimise strategies and achieve KPIs.
- Manage relationships with external partners, such as ad agencies, designers, and event organisers.
- Execute brand presence at trade shows and industry events.
- Ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints, aligning with Watt Footprint’s mission and values.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of proven experience in a marketing role, ideally in the energy, sustainability, or technology sectors.
- Demonstrated success in expanding a brand into new markets (UK and Dubai), including localisation and market-specific strategies.
- Strong expertise in digital marketing, including tools such as Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
- Exceptional communication and content creation skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and optimise performance.
- Experience managing cross-functional projects and working collaboratively with multiple departments.
- Creative thinker with a strategic approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities.
