About the role
The Senior Performance Marketing Manager will spearhead the planning, execution, and optimization of multi-channel digital marketing campaigns that drive user acquisition, customer engagement, and revenue growth for Wafeq a SaaS accounting software. This role is designed for a marketing leader who is as comfortable devising strategic plans as they are rolling up their sleeves to execute campaigns directly. You will manage significant budgets while working closely with cross-functional teams and, in true startup fashion, wear multiple hats to drive our growth.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Campaign Leadership & Execution:
- Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies across multiple channels (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook, LinkedIn, programmatic advertising) to drive user acquisition and brand awareness.
- Manage and allocate large marketing budgets, ensuring optimal spend and maximum ROI.
- Execute campaigns hands-on by setting up, monitoring, and optimizing ad creatives, targeting parameters, and landing pages.
- Continuously iterate on campaigns based on real-time data and A/B testing results to drive down customer acquisition costs.
Data Analysis & Optimization:
- Utilize advanced analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot, SEMrush) to track and analyze campaign performance.
- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust strategies to meet or exceed performance benchmarks.
- Generate detailed performance reports and actionable insights for senior management.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership:
- Work closely with product, content, design, and sales teams to ensure a unified and effective marketing approach.
- Mentor and guide junior marketing team members, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Collaborate with external agencies and vendors when necessary to enhance campaign execution and creative development.
Industry Insight & Innovation:
- Stay abreast of the latest trends, tools, and best practices in digital marketing, SaaS, and accounting software.
- Proactively identify and test new marketing channels and tactics to expand our reach and optimize the customer journey.
- Provide strategic recommendations based on market research and competitor analysis
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in performance marketing or digital advertising, with a strong track record of managing large-budget campaigns.
- Proven ability to execute digital marketing strategies hands-on in a startup or fast-paced environment.
- Experience within the SaaS, technology, or financial software sectors is highly desirable.
- Expertise in digital advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and programmatic advertising tools.
- Proficient in analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot, SEMrush).
- Solid understanding of SEO/SEM best practices and conversion rate optimization techniques.
- Experience with SaaS accounting or financial software products is a plus.
- Familiarity with marketing automation tools and CRM systems is a plus.
This role is remote. You can work from anywhere between GMT+1 to GMT+4.
