Data Engineer - Computer Vision / Natural Language Focus (Seattle, WA)

Job based onsite in Seattle, WA.

We’re seeking a driven engineer who has experience in computer vision, natural language processing, and data management to own data at VTI.**

What You’ll Do**

Primary Responsibilities:

Own VTI's data platform which is responsible for managing all data products generated by VTI. Additionally, own automated and manual data labeling processes which are critical to algorithm development.

• Development of auto labeling capabilities for both computer vision and language tasks (Python)
• Management of databases and blob storage which catalog data products (SQL, Time-series DB's, S3)
• Implementation of data pipelines to reduce touch time from data collection to model training (AWS)
• Creation of visualizations to understand data for both internal and external customers (Grafana)

Who You Are

• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or related engineering field
• 2+ years of relevant industry experience
• Expert in Python and SQL
• Experience with cloud-based workflows and machine learning.
• Self-motivated, team-player attitude
