About The Role

We are seeking a Senior Front-End Engineer to join our team and help build the next generation of AI-powered user experiences on top of VTEX’s Agent Platform.

This is a hands-on engineering role focused on designing and developing intuitive, scalable, and AI-enabled interfaces that empower users to create, manage, and interact with autonomous AI agents.

You will be responsible for building high-quality front-end applications using React and TypeScript, while also leveraging AI to accelerate and transform the way UIs are created. In this role, you will not only ship front-end products—you will help redefine how they are built.

AI/ML engineering (large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, embeddings)

Key Responsabilities

• Build and evolve core front-end experiences for the AI Agents Platform, including interfaces for agent creation, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Implement UI components, design system integrations, and interaction patterns that make complex AI workflows simple and intuitive.
• Develop tools that allow users to create or modify front-ends using AI—turning prompts or sketches into production-ready UI components.
• Collaborate closely with backend engineers, AI/ML specialists, designers, and product managers to ship cohesive, high-impact AI features.
• Prototype and imeplement front-end features for AI-driven use cases, ensuring usability, accessibility, and performance.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code with a strong focus on reliability, scalability, and resilience.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and influence how AI-powered front-end experiences are designed and built at VTEX.
