Role Overview
As Marketing Operations Manager, you will be the operational engine driving VRIFY's category creation and market leadership initiatives. This role demands a high-energy, mission-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes ownership of marketing operations from concept to execution. You'll need to be a self-starter who proactively identifies opportunities for improvement and drives change without being prompted.
You will build and optimize the processes, systems, and execution frameworks that power our go-to-market strategy, working collaboratively across teams to ensure marketing delivers measurable business impact. Key Responsibilities
CRM Ownership & Marketing Program Execution (50%)
- Administer and maintain the CRM platform (HubSpot), ensuring alignment with GTM goals and user needs
- Customize and optimize HubSpot to align with the team’s needs, including creating workflows, templates, and reports
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to HTML templates, CMS themes, list segmentation and other aspects of GTM execution
- Collaborate with Marketing Analytics Manager on CRM hygiene best practices and reporting consistency
- Collaborate with Sales/BD and ABM to ensure efficient CRM lead management processes, including lead capture, qualification, and handoff across the funnel
- Take complete ownership of marketing campaign execution, ensuring flawless delivery against strategic objectives
- Champion a culture of accountability and results across all marketing initiatives
Project Management & Process Optimization (30%)
- Own and enhance our Asana-based 2-week sprint process, driving continuous improvement
- Develop and document standardized processes that enable the team to scale efficiently
- Create and maintain templates, checklists, and playbooks that accelerate marketing execution
- Identify process bottlenecks and inefficiencies, taking initiative to implement solutions
- Drive cross-functional alignment through clear communication and process documentation
Marketing Technology Management (10%)
- Lead the optimization of our marketing technology stack, including HubSpot, Clay, and other tools
- Implement automation workflows that increase team efficiency and program effectiveness
- Lead system integrations and enhancements
- Ensure marketing systems are configured to support our go-to-market strategy
- Proactively research and recommend new technologies that can advance our capabilities
Cross-Functional Collaboration (10%)
- Serve as a proactive liaison between marketing, sales, and customer success teams
- Assist with the distribution of sales enablement materials in collaboration with the content team
- Establish and maintain clear SLAs and handoff procedures between marketing and sales
- Collaborate with customer marketing and customer success to operationalize customer testimonials and success stories
- Build strong relationships across departments to ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives
Requirements
Essential Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in B2B marketing operations or program management
- Demonstrated history of taking initiative, driving projects to completion without supervision
- Proven track record implementing and optimizing marketing processes that deliver measurable results
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Advanced proficiency with marketing automation platforms (preferably HubSpot) and CRM systems
- Experience managing marketing projects through structured methodologies (Agile/Scrum preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in high-growth, mission-driven organizations
- Background in category creation or market positioning initiatives
- Experience in enterprise B2B SaaS or technology marketing
- HubSpot Marketing or Operations certification
- Experience with project management tools (Asana or similar)
- Knowledge of marketing analytics and attribution models

Terms of Employment
- Full-time, Permanent, Remote work in Canada. Preference for Metro Vancouver-based.
