1. Site Execution & Supervision • Execution of projects from stage of dispatch from PEPL factory till handover to customer in all respects. • Supervise installation of compressor units (Screw/ Reciprocating), Condensers, Evaporators, piping, valves, and controls. • Oversee erection and alignment of flake ice machines, chilled water systems, Ice Handling Systems and cold room panels. • Ensure compliance with layout drawings, P & ID’s, and project specifications. 2. Refrigeration System Handling • Monitor and guide refrigerant piping work (Ammonia / Freon) including welding, flushing, and pressure testing. • Support leak testing, vacuuming, refrigerant charging, and performance testing of systems. • Assist in automation and control integration (PLC, SCADA, or local control systems) for Ice Pants & Ice handling Systems. 3. Client & Vendor Coordination • Act as a technical interface between client and company during execution. • Coordinate & supervise with equipment suppliers, for equipment installation & trial runs as per project time lines, Sub-contractors, site workers and utility service providers. • Liaise with clients for site updates, approvals & clarifications. • Execution of projects in PEPL factory, check packing list, goods being dispatched from PEPL factory. To ensure that correct qty. of goods are dispatched and received at customer’s place. REV. 00 (5/25) 2 4. Documentation & Compliance • Handling / compliance of customer complaints in warrantee period & thereafter. • Maintain site logs, daily progress reports, material receipt records, and commissioning reports, quality checklists. • Technical Coordination • Follow safety protocols, PPE use, and ensure engineering & statutory industry standards compliance with whichever wherever applicable. • Report site issues, risks & progress to project manager on regular basis. • Report site based necessary improvements to Project Manager & concerned departments. 5. Commissioning & Handover • Participate in trial runs, performance evaluation, and final handover to client & Project Manager. • Prepare and present site closure documents and support client training as needed. 6. Reporting to Management • Prepare & send MIS report to Director in agreed format. Giving updates / status of monthly report, pending works at site / factory, next month’s planning. • To improve department performance, write down SOP’s for departmental functions. Qualifications & Experience: • Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Refrigeration / Industrial Engineering. • Experience: 2–5 years in industrial refrigeration project execution, preferably in: 1. Knowledge of compressors, condensers, valves, piping. 2. Knowledge of Ice plants, Chilled Water Plants, Material Handling Systems. 3. HVAC Industry 4. Dairy, meat or marine refrigeration systems 5. Food & beverage processing units 6. Cold Storages
