Software Engineer III

INTRODUCTION and WHAT YOU WILL DO (Job Responsibilities)

• Code and test software in accordance with specifications.

• Diagnose and solve software defects.

• Design software in accordance with requirements.

• Provide direction to other Software Engineers.

• Review others design and code.

• Review SQA test cases.

• Provide technical support to other Engineering roles, Marketing and Service.

• Conduct all business-related processes with integrity.

• Comply with the standard of conduct and compliance of the corporation.

• Follow all health, safety and environmental procedures and company policies.

WHO YOU ARE (Qualifications)

Background & Education

1. • 8+ years experience in software development using languages such as C++, C#, Java
2. • Experience with Object Oriented Design, Database design, and XML schema
3. • Experience with design pattern
4. • Experience with Windows-based application development
5. • 5+ years experience .NET (.NET Core and up)
6. • Experience with SQL or similar database query language
7. • Intermediate Oral communication skills both in Spanish and English
8. • Advanced Written communication skills both in Spanish and English

Preferred:

1. • 4 year degree in Computer Science or related field
2. • Experience in the Retail industry, electronic payment systems, and/or Point-Of-Sale systems
3. • Experience with Go to build microservices
4. • Companies in Background: Verifone, IBM, VISA, FIRST DATA
5. • Companies with Scrum model.
