Job Summary
This role serves as a key creative pillar within the Corporate Communications function at Voltas. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing, developing, and delivering high‑quality visual assets that enhance the brand’s storytelling across internal and external communication channels.
The ideal candidate should bring strong design fundamentals, a strategic creative mindset, and the ability to translate communication goals into visually compelling narratives. The role requires a blend of creativity, precision, speed, and effective collaboration, with experience spanning digital, print, video and other multimedia formats.
Key Responsibilities
- Creative Conceptualization & Design
- Develop visually engaging designs for corporate communication materials, including presentations, newsletters, internal mailers, infographics, posters, standees, and event collateral.
- Transform complex business and financial information into easy-to-understand visual formats (charts, infographics, pictorial summaries).
- Design brand-aligned creatives for digital platforms including emailers, web pages, intranet, social media, and microsites.
- Brand Identity & Governance
- Ensure all designs adhere to Voltas brand guidelines while maintaining consistency across every touchpoint.
- Support brand refresh initiatives by developing templates, styles, and visual systems for internal and external communication.
- Digital, Multimedia & Video Support
- Create static and animated assets for videos, reels, GIFs, and short-form multimedia content for engagement initiatives.
- Support video editing and motion graphics creation for campaigns, events, and leadership communication (basic to intermediate level preferred).
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with Corporate Communications, HR, Marketing, Business teams, and external partners to fulfill design needs.
- Understand stakeholder briefs, offer creative solutions, and deliver quality output within deadlines.
- Partner with cross-functional teams for internal campaigns, employee engagement programs, and corporate events.
- Production & Asset Management
- Collate and collaborate with different internal stakeholders to make the Subsidiary Report.
- Prepare final artwork for printing, fabrication, and digital deployment.
- Coordinate with printers, agencies, and vendors when required.
- Maintain and manage a digital repository of design files, templates, and project assets.
Essential Attributes
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Design, Visual Communication, or related field.
- 3–6 years of relevant experience in corporate design, brand communication, or creative agencies.
KEY COMPETENCIES
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign mandatory; Premiere Pro/After Effects preferred).
- Strong understanding of typography, colour theory, layout, and design principles.
- Ability to create clean, modern, and brand-aligned designs across media formats.
- Experience with PowerPoint design, template creation, and data visualization is a strong advantage.
