Role Overview:
We are seeking a results-driven Outbound & Inbound Email Marketing Expert to take ownership of our email marketing and direct messaging channels, leveraging both outbound and inbound strategies. You will be responsible for driving new lead generation, nurturing existing client relationships, and increasing conversions. Your expertise will help enhance client engagement, retention, and business growth through data-driven strategies and personalized messaging.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop, and execute targeted outbound email campaigns using Smartlead, Lemlist, Sendspark, Hyperise, and Clay to generate leads, drive conversions, and improve prospect engagement.
- Use data scraping and data enrichment tools like Clay & Apollo to source and build high-quality prospect lists, ensuring accurate and relevant contact information for outbound efforts.
- Manage inbound email marketing efforts, including newsletters, nurture emails, and lifecycle marketing, using Mautic to strengthen client relationships and improve customer retention.
- Leverage segmentation techniques to personalize email campaigns based on client data and behavior, driving better engagement and response rates.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on key performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, lead-to-sale ratios) and use these insights to optimize campaign effectiveness.
- Develop automated email workflows (e.g., onboarding sequences, product updates) and ensure they are aligned with customer journey stages, improving client onboarding and ongoing engagement.
- Conduct A/B testing and multi-variate testing to optimize subject lines, content, CTAs, and other elements to improve performance and user experience.
- Implement and manage push notification campaigns for mobile and web platforms, ensuring timely, relevant, and consistent messaging across all channels.
- Design and execute retention and upselling/cross-selling strategies through direct messaging channels to maximize customer lifetime value and reduce churn.
- Collaborate with the content, product, and sales teams to develop compelling, high-converting messaging that aligns with Voiso’s brand and product offerings.
- Track and report on the effectiveness of email marketing strategies, providing actionable insights to key stakeholders to continuously improve performance.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in email marketing, with a focus on both outbound and inbound strategies, ideally within a B2B environment.
- Expertise in using tools like Smartlead, Lemlist, Sendspark, Hyperise, Clay(for outbound emails), and Mautic (for newsletters, nurture emails, and inbound efforts).
- Strong understanding of data scraping, data enrichment, and building prospect lists to fuel outbound campaigns.
- Proven experience in segmenting email lists, creating personalized messaging, and optimizing campaigns based on data-driven insights.
- Strong knowledge of marketing automation tools and CRM integrations to support efficient campaign management and lead tracking.
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS for troubleshooting and making basic design adjustments in emails is a plus.
- Ability to analyze and interpret key performance metrics (e.g., open rates, click-through rates, conversions, customer lifetime value) and translate them into actionable improvements.
- Experience in A/B testing and multi-variate testing to optimize campaign performance.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and consistency in messaging.
- A solid understanding of the customer journey, marketing funnels, and lead nurturing strategies.
