Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an AI/Data Scientist located in Hanoi. The role involves developing and implementing data models, analyzing complex datasets, designing effective data visualizations, and applying statistical methods to derive meaningful insights. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to extract, process, and analyze large-scale data to address business challenges and deliver innovative AI-driven solutions. Additionally, you will contribute to continuous improvement efforts by researching and implementing emerging technologies and methodologies within the AI and data science landscape.

Machine Learning & Predictive Analytics

• Experience in developing Machine Learning models using traditional ML algorithms, time series forecasting, and deep learning techniques.
• Understanding of the end-to-end data science lifecycle including data preparation, feature engineering, model training, evaluation, and monitoring.
• Ability to analyze large datasets and generate actionable insights to support business decisions.

Business Problem Solving

• Strong analytical and business acumen with the ability to translate complex business problems into effective AI/Data Science solutions.
• Deliver measurable business impact through data-driven approaches and predictive analytics.

Technical Proficiency

• Strong hands-on experience with Python is required.
• Experience with PySpark and large-scale data processing is preferred.
• Good understanding of SQL and data manipulation techniques.
• Familiarity with production-grade model development and deployment is a plus.
• Experience with Azure/Azure AI services is a strong advantage.

GenAI & Emerging AI Technologies (Plus)

• Exposure to Generative AI, LLM applications, or Agentic AI is a plus.
• Experience using AI-assisted development/vibe coding tools to improve productivity is preferred.
• Familiarity with AI agents such as EDA Agent, Insights Agent, or Model Monitoring Agent is an advantage.

Communication & Collaboration

• Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Junior: 1–3 years of relevant experience with strong ML/Data Science fundamentals.
• Middle: 3–5 years of experience delivering AI/DS projects independently.
• Senior: 5+ years of experience leading end-to-end AI/Data Science solutions and mentoring team members.

Language

• English: Upper-Intermediate.
