About The Role
The Data Analyst will play a crucial role in transforming data into actionable insights that drive growth across our digital channels and support financial decision-making. This position will work closely with finance, product, sales, marketing, and product marketing teams to optimize customer acquisition, engagement, and retention through sophisticated data analysis and automation, while also contributing to financial reporting and forecasting.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Analysis and Reporting:
- Partner with the Finance team to develop financial models, forecasts, and performance reports
- Analyze revenue streams, customer acquisition costs, and other financial metrics to identify trends and opportunities
- Create and maintain financial dashboards that provide real-time visibility into business performance
- Support budget planning with data-driven projections and scenario analyses
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze complex datasets to uncover insights about customer behavior, lead conversion, and sales performance
- Design and maintain dashboards and regular reports on key business metrics using BI tools
- Develop and track KPIs across the customer journey, from acquisition to retention
Marketing and Sales Operations:
- Build and optimize HubSpot workflows and sequences to automate and enhance marketing and sales processes
- Monitor campaign performance and provide data-driven recommendations for optimization
- Develop and maintain customer segmentation models to support targeted marketing efforts
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Partner with Finance to measure ROI on marketing initiatives and product investments
- Support Product Marketing to measure product adoption and feature usage metrics
- Work with Sales teams to provide data-driven insights for improving conversion rates and efficiency
- Collaborate with Product teams to analyze user behavior and inform product development
Process Optimization:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement through data analysis
- Design and implement automated reporting solutions
- Document and maintain data collection and analysis methodologies
Qualifications And Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in SaaS or B2B environments
- Experience with financial modeling, forecasting, and performance analysis
- Advanced proficiency in HubSpot, including workflows, sequences, and custom reporting
- Strong Python programming skills for data analysis and automation
- Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI) and SQL
- Proven track record of translating complex data into actionable business insights
- Experience with marketing automation and CRM systems
- Strong project management and communication skills
- Knowledge of the legal tech industry is a plus
