Position Overview

The Product Marketing & Customer Advocacy Lead is responsible for the go-to-market strategy, product positioning, and ensuring customer success and advocacy, which drives awareness, demand, and adoption of our solutions. This role bridges product development and sales, ensuring that products meet market demands and are effectively promoted.​ This role requires a deep understanding of the heavy equipment landscape, customer needs, and competitive dynamics, as well as the ability to craft compelling messaging and positioning that resonates with target audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates the products in the market aligned with the company’s overall goals and objectives
  • Plan and execute product launches, working closely with product and sales teams
  • Conduct market analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape
  • Create clear and compelling product positioning and messaging that differentiates our ERP solutions from competitors
  • Collaborate with product management to ensure alignment between product features and customer needs
  • Lead the development and execution of go-to-market strategies for new product launches and updates
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and customer success, to ensure successful product launches
  • Design and implement integrated marketing campaigns to drive awareness and demand for ERP/DMS solutions
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, making data-driven adjustments to optimize results. Collaborate with the customer success team to gather feedback from customers and use insights to refine product messaging and marketing strategies
  • Engage with customers through webinars, case studies, and events to showcase the value of our ERP/ DMS solutions
  • Develop customer advocacy programs to leverage satisfied customers as references
  • Create sales tools and collateral to support the sales process

Required Skills & Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred
  • 8+ years of product marketing experience, preferably in the technology or software sector, with a focus on ERP solutions
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and marketing software products
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely
  • Experience in leading and developing high-performing teams
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Private Equity/Venture Capital experience strongly preferred
