We are building the first real estate platform that shifts power back to consumers by matching sellers and buyers with: realtors, mortgage brokers, inspectors, movers, attorneys, and other professionals in a marketplace with a transparent, competitive bidding system.

We’re an early stage startup with a small team building our MVP from the ground up. We’re looking for a Lead Full Stack Developer who can help architect the platform and guide future engineering hires.

Role Overview

We’re seeking an experienced full stack engineer who can take ownership of core technical decisions, build key platform features, and help establish engineering standards. This position involves hands-on development along with leadership responsibilities as the team grows.

You’ll work closely with product and design to build user flows for sellers, buyers, and realtors, and develop features such as onboarding, proposal submissions, messaging, file uploads, digital contracts, and our matching engine.

This is an opportunity to join early, influence the architecture, and help shape a platform designed to challenge legacy real estate systems.

What You’ll Work On

• Architect, develop, and maintain backend services

• Own frontend architecture across web and mobile platforms (iOS/Android)

• Implement onboarding flows for buyers, sellers, and licensed professionals

• Develop the proposal/bidding system and ranking/matching logic

• Create dashboards for user groups with real-time updates and notifications

• Integrate third-party APIs (identity verification, messaging, payments, video)

• Collaborate with product/design and participate in planning, scoping, and reviews

• Mentor future engineers and help establish coding standards as the team scales

What We’re Looking For

• 7+ years of full stack development experience

• Strong foundation in modern web frameworks (React or similar for frontend; Node.js, Python, or similar for backend)

• Solid understanding of database design

• Experience building marketplaces, SaaS products, or multi-sided platforms

• Familiarity with cloud platforms(AWS), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps best practices

• Ability to take ownership of features from concept to deployment

• Comfortable working in a small, early-stage startup environment

• Strong communicator who gives thoughtful feedback, is comfortable with ambiguity, and is passionate about solving real, frustrating consumer problems

Nice to Have

• Experience in real estate tech or fintech

• Knowledge of ranking systems, recommendation engines, or bidding systems

• Experience integrating authentication and identity services

• Familiarity with marketplace payment flows

• Previous early-stage or core team experience

Compensation

• Base pay: $140,000 - $170,000
• Bonuses based on performance
