Sr. Data Scientist (Live Anywhere)

We are targeting a resources with a background in Optimization Math Modeling and Neural Networks with a Retail or Supply chain domain.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA)
- Generate ideas and develop solutions
- Develop models (testing and training)
- Create prototypes and Proofs of Concept (POCs) for rapid validation and feasibility assessment
- Conduct experiments and measure impact
- Deploy models into cloud production environments
- Monitor model performance

REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 3-7 years of professional experience as a Data Scientist
- Expertise in Operations Research and Mathematical Modeling
- Strong experience with Linear Programming (LP), Mixed-Integer Programming (MIP), and Network Optimization
- Expertise in optimization libraries and solvers such as CPLEX, Gurobi, OR-Tools, or similar tools
- Experience with Git for version control and collaborative development
- Proven track record of deploying models and data pipelines in cloud environments, preferably on GCP or other cloud platforms
- Advanced understanding of Neural Networks (DNN, RNN, LSTM) for predictive analytics
- Experience with Tree-based models (XGBoost, Random Forest, etc.) and other statistical modeling techniques
- Master's degree (Operations Research, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics)
- PhD in Quantitative Field
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Demand forecasting experience (Time Series, ARIMA, etc.)
- Strong experience in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker Studio etc.)
